SERVICING

With cars more complex than ever, servicing your car at regular intervals is becoming a necessity. Some on-board computers place the car in 'limp-home' mode if the car runs over its service time.

We offer servicing for all makes of vehicle and our up to date diagnostic computers ensure that we can offer the same checks as you would get at a main dealer, but for a fraction of the cost.

The type of service depends on the mileage or age of your vehicle as defined by the manufacturer. If however you need something more specific we can tailor a service to your particular needs and/or budget. Whatever we do, you will get a printout of all the checks our technicians carry out.

Apart from scheduled servicing, we will be happy to undertake normal garage work: Exhausts, brakes, shock absorbers, air conditioning recharge and leak test, catalytic converters, wheel alignment, servicing, suspension, electrical, on-board diagnostics, emission problems, bodywork and more...

AUTO AIR CONDITIONING SERVICING
More cars have air conditioning and climate control. We are now able to diagnose leaks and re-charge your cars' air conditioning system. Why not have it checked at your next service.

MOT TESTS

An image of the M.O.T symbol. Nobody likes them, but they are compulsory for all vehicles over three years old. To ensure that you don't have to wait, we operate an appointment system and are generally booking two to three days in advance.

Any garage can service any car without voiding the manufacturers warranty. This applies as long as the manufacturers recommended service schedule is adhered to and the parts used are technically identical. This is because of the 'Automotive Block Exemption Regulations' which came into force in 2003. Car and Tyre Services do this as a matter of course and at a fraction of the cost of a main dealer.
